Montana’s Sun Road

The Sun Road not only has a unique name, but also lays claim to a colorful history. The highway was constructed in 1932 as a way to enhance tourism in the region and this purpose has certainly been achieved. The path cleverly snakes through the state’s famous Glacier National Park, where you can feast your eyes on snow-covered mountains, lakes, glaciers, and tunnels. Keep in mind, though, that the highway is a bit challenging, and it’s not a good choice for the winter season. However, the scenery and photo opportunities are unparalleled, and make this trek worth the effort.

Hawaii’s Hana Highway

An RV road trip along the lovely Hana Highway requires a bit more effort than similar trips on the mainland.
