Endless Holiday

The Greenville SC Wingate is definitely in a class by itself. As a Wyndham Rewards member, I always try to give my favorite hotels good reviews, but this one made it easy. There was nothing bad to report.

Check-in was amazingly simple, and the wonderful front desk clerk named “Dee” was very helpful and offered us a ground-floor room if we desired. When my husband was checking us in, I went to the restrooms in the lobby and they were immaculately clean, probably the cleanest I’ve seen anywhere even with the extra cleaning that’s been going on since the pandemic.

The employees were very helpful telling us about restaurants in the area as well, and some other things we had questions about. We needed some extra towels and soap, and they were very quick to respond.

The lobby was immaculate, and offered coffee 24/7. It sounds like a little thing, but when you travel for a living like I do, it’s a real blessing! They also had a nice assortment of tea, which many hotels won’t bother with even though there’s lots of tea drinkers out here.

The room was absolutely perfect, I couldn’t find one single thing that was overlooked. It was surprisingly quiet considering there were quite a few guests there that night. I don’t know if the rooms are soundproof, but if they’re not, they’re close to it. The beds were outstandingly comfortable, and the pillows luxurious. In fact, I ended up purchasing one of them due to my neck problems. Not many pillows work for me, and I was thrilled to find these!

The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, because it went far beyond the typical continental breakfast, and the coffee was fresh and hot. We asked for a late check out, and they accommodated us for no extra fee, and checking out was easy and hassle free.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody!
